Before I go for another vacation. Let me share something

Say, a person who is bad by nature, wants to change.
He is bad, let alone being a hypocrite and all (He is best at it)

However, he woke up one fine day. Knowing how bad he is currently, he wishes to change?

He puts an act infront of his friends, but this act, he wishes to prolong. The act of being good. He is bad by nature, but doing this, he is trying for a change. It is not easy, as he is already bad by nature.

So the point is.

Is he being a hypocrite, or is he trying to change for the better? If you think this is a straight forward answer, "Oh, he bad ma, now he wake up, want become good". Think again.

In the common perspective of typical human eyes/brains, will you truly think of it that way considering you already knew what type of a person he/she is?

This question has been stucked with me for a very long time for, everyone is trying to change. Are we all hypocrites? For we can never be ourselves; living in such society.

Here is my version of a day of how a farking 10 goes through her everyday.

Morning, Caprice wakes up. She sees a few sms from guys, Tom, Dick, and Harry. Tom is sweet, has been trying to ask her out but Caprice feels that Tom is just a good friend. Dick has gone out a few times with Caprice and she thinks that he's quite cute but not as rich so she is thinking of KIV him first. He wishes Caprice good morning in the sms. Harry is just some guy she gave her number to and she forgot when. She only replied to Dick.

She prepares her make up, and wears high heels because all men will fall over her high heels. She does not feel she needs a push up bra normally cos hers is quite big but since today there's a photo shoot, so why not? Her manager calls her to remind her that the FHM photoshoot is at 10am.

She reaches the beach taking a cab, taking a few photos of herself along the way. She needs to check her make up and such by looking at the photos. Besides, she can also post them on her blog later. She reaches the beach for the photoshoot and prepares for make up. WHile shooting, she realises that passerbys mostly guys are drowling with their saliva. SHe thinks men are typical. During a break, some guys come over and ask to take photos with her while some asked for her number. SHe thought one was quite hunky and so gave it to him. SHe rejected the rest which was about 5 of them.

Afterwards, she reached school. SHe is never interested in school. SHe thinks modelling is better than studying. SHe asked one of the guy frens who she thinks maybe likes her to lend his notes n help do her part in the project. The guy like a dog, says yes right away, anything to make her happy. On good days some classmates will confess to her that they like her or wanna take her out, while on bad days, everybody leaves her alone. Today it is a bad day. Oh well, she says, its ok because I am going clubbing tonight where she will normally get hit by guys.

After school, she recieves a call from Harry about why she did not reply. She says either: I did, u nv recieve? or sorry i was too busy in the morning. Harry ask if she is free this saturday for dinner. Caprice breaks into this sweet tone men can't resist, that she can't, she has to visit her sick dog at the hospital (or watever lame excuse she can think of). Harry does not give up, asks about sunday, monday, tuesday, Next wk? Caprice thinks cant he get it? SHe rejects them all.

Afterwards she goes clubbing with her friends. She gets free drinks and endless guys coming up to her. Typical pick up lines include, are u maxim's caprice? Thankfully, her friends are very protective of her and push them away, but deep inside she is enjoying all the attention. SHe takes more photos for her blogs, with some wild ones kissing a fellow girlfriend. She is tired and wants to go home. All the guys immediately volunteer to send her home by his car. She picks one with the biggest car and one she can trust.

When she reaches home, she thinks sometimes she wonders why she is single? Dick sms her whether she has slp already and whether wkend is free. She is thinking of a free meal n someone good to like act as her bf for the time being, so she agrees. DIck is happy like hell but does not know that she is not serious abt him. Poor Dick.

Ok, that is it. I will 'zhng' my body parts to be a girl for 1 year. Get enough money from the guys, change back to myself, and buy all the guitars I can in the world.

How to Dance in the Rain

It was a busy morning, about 8:30, when an elderly gentleman in his 80's arrived to have stitches removed from his thumb.

He said he was in a hurry as he had an appointment at 9:00am. I took his vital signs and had him take a seat, knowing it would be over an hour before someone would be able to see him.

I saw him looking at his watch and decided, since I was not busy with another patient, I would evaluate his wound. On exam, it was well healed, so I talked to one of the doctors, got the needed supplies to remove his sutures and redress his wound.

While taking care of his wound, I asked him if he had another doctor's appointment this morning, as he was in such a hurry.The gentleman told me no, that he needed to go to the nursing home to eat breakfast with his wife.. I inquired as to her health.He told me that she had been there for a while and that she was a victim of Alzheimer's Disease.

As we talked, I asked if she would be upset if he was a bit late.He replied that she no longer knew who he was, that she had not recognized him in five years now.

I was surprised, and asked him, 'And you still go every morning, even though she doesn't know who you are?'

He smiled as he patted my hand and said,'She doesn't know me, but I still know who she is.'

I had to hold back tears as he left, I had goose bumps on my arm, and thought,'That is the kind of love I want in my life.'

True love is neither physical, nor romantic.

Times when you grow older or when more white hair is showing on your head, you tend to understand things at a different level.

Childhood morals and ethics no longer work and is so very often rebutt-ed by new understandings gained from new exposures.

Life is about finding out your reason(s) for being here on Earth and live to fulfill it.

Each and everyone is here for reason or two. To learn or complete lesson(s) that have not been completed in your pass attempts at living. And making lots and lots of money ain't one of it. For money is only a tool of our own creation, to aid us in our journey of discovery. You can't bring it with you when you are gone. How much money do you need for a lifetime?

Make what is enough for you to live and leave enough time to discover your meaning of life.

Some need only a moment here on Earth, while others take a life-time. And even more need several lift-times to get it.

The interesting part is in Red.

The last line in bold Red, made me go like: "What the heck am I doing right now?"

On a separate note, are we really living for ourselves? The poor fight for jobs and dough to fulfill their hunger and on a separate level, 'ego' issues to fend off the 'poor' title. The rich spends money to cover up many details to make them even more 'richer' in life; aspects of your surrounding.

Exactly what are hypocrites and what meaning does this word carry?

Often, many say-tell "I live my own life, I don't live for others."

Jeeyon: "Hey buddy, that is a Gucci bag, cool stuff!" You sure you are living for yourself? There is not a wee-bit of 'ego' issues with you and how people view your social-status-oh-what-so-level?

Answer only lies with the beholder. The beholder that understands himself best. But often, blinded by facts around and getting tricked into believe that, "this is me."

It has been quite sometime since I last went to a concert, last being Buddy Guy. (Do a search on youtube and see if you like the music :))

F.I.R. ain't bad at all! Supported by a really good backing band plus a superb chorus. It's a good start for their world tour (heard from Faye it is their first world tour concert!).

Nonetheless, experience was really good and refreshing! Good stuff!

My Best Friend

Never imagined it happening to me, sounded too queer and drama-typical to be true.
Sadness overwhelms me.

Upon receiving the phone call, I rushed down. Seeing him like this pains me, I thought I could handle. Which I did, a little bit of tears when he said "Let's go eat prata again when I recover..." Things were different, when I stepped out of the ICU for a breather, I broke down. Along with his father, brother. I have never cried so badly in my entire life, except when my mother was giving me "love".

It was from inside. My mind was blank, no memories, no flashbacks, no nothing. My face cringed and I just kept on crying, I couldn't stop the tears. I thought I could handle it, but I am just a human. Sadness just overwhelms me so badly; it was different from the childhood lectures from parents.

He is by far the bravest, and toughest best friend I have and right now as I am typing this blog entry, he is still fighting with himself. Every moment he opens his eyes, he wins. Despite the pain, tubes, torment going through him, he is staying strong. He can't walk, eat, pee, nothing. He is living on tubes, lying on the bed, unable to move much (due to artificial food-compound keeping him alive). He can't even drink soup.

I hate to blog about daily lives, or happenings. But this event will definitely change me, in a way or two. I am lost. My best friend, the person who knows me the best, longest friend as of now. He will win, I have faith. Everyday is a glorious fight, every moment is a precious scene, and every minute is a lesson to learn for everyone. Stay strong, live. No matter what I am here. Live on to see this post, understand those who love, care for you.

Full Story

I was born in HongKong and was married to Singapore 8 Years ago. I thought that I could have a lovely and happy family here but to my despair, everything had gone.

My Husband, Raymond(Not his real name), works with the RSAF and we had a son who was currently studying in XinMin Primary School. We were staying in a 4 room flat at Hougang area (Block 9xx). Throughout these 8 years, I had been sacrificing myself for the sake of my family
My husband forbid me to work in Singapore, hence I had to be a full time housewife looking after my son and doing all the household chores. The entire family expenses depends solely on my husband earnings.

In year 2000, I realized that my husband had a habit of stealing things. He brought a bicycle home and told me that this bicycle was stolen from his working place. I was shocked and immediately asked him to return the bike. Instead he insisted to sell off the bike at a bicycle shop. However, his deed was discovered when the police found the stolen bike at the shop in Sims Drive. He was eventually charged to court but was not found guilty because there is insufficient evident against him.

My worst nightmare begins at Year 2005, when my husband forced me to steal things at supermarket. The whole processed took about an hour. He will placed all the stolen goods in my son’s bag and forced me to carried it out of the shop so that he will not be implicated. When we were convicted to the crime, he used a knife to threaten me and forced me to admit guilty in COURT. I had no choice but to follow his instruction. The penalty charges was $2500.
At year 2006, his stealing habit starts to kick-in again. This time round he told me that we could earn extra income by stealing goods and sold in the internet. Fearing that I might be caught again, I rejected his order.

Then he started to throw tantrum on me by destroying a lot of items in the house. He also threatened me that he will divorce with me if I failed to follow his instructions. I had no choice but to do it for the sake of my family again. This time we were caught for the second time. The case was still pending in COURT. Again he threatened me with the same reasons and forced me to admit to the police for he claimed that he is the only person that can BAILED me and my son out from the detention / custody.

He forced me to seek psychology for help and lied to the doctor that I am having a post natal depression. He told me that this will lighten the sentence. As I am not aware of the SINGAPORE law and legislation, I followed what he had mentioned.

In November 2007, he went to shopping (MUSTAFA) with me and again he uses the same tactic to steal things. I told myself “That’s enough” of this nonsense and I will not help him in doing all this illegal act. However, he acted on his own accord by changing the price tag of the display items in MUSTAFA. This time he was caught by the CCTV camera and I was charged as being an accomplice for this particular case. I told the security guard that I am innocent but they refused to listen to me. We were both charged in COURT again. (Case Pending).

Early in 2008, he had brought in a few bottles of BANNED slimming pill from Malaysia and sell it in the internet. He was again caught by the authority and was given a warning for that issue.
In March 2008, he knows a woman, Stella (Not her real name), in the FACEBOOK (Internet) and had seems to behave strangely . He went clubbing very often and was drunk every night. Things got out of hand, when he requested to move out of the house in 24 April 2008. He told me that he was sick and tired of me. He wanted to start a new life with his new girlfriend. I kneeled and begged him to stay but it was all in vain.

During this time, both me and my son was living in the dark. I had no money as he had withdraw all the money from the joint account and simultaneously closed my son’s saving account with no money left for me. He came home occasionally to moved his things away. He unplugged the SCV boxes and my son had no cartoon to watch. He even came home to take away the son’s laptop as he need it for his studies and leisure as well.

He was really INHUMAN when he forced me to agree and signed the divorced paper on the spot. He told me to tell the judge that I only need $300 every month for the maintenance fee. Failing to do so, I will lose my son eventually. He even asked me to become a PROSTITUTE so as to earn a living myself as he will not pay me a single cent. (His current gross pay is estimated $3200)

I had no choice but to seek help from the FAMILY COURT. As I am desperate for money, I had to accept a mere $500 maintenance fee monthly from him as he told the mitigating officer that this is the maximum of money he can afford.

In MAY 2008, he refused to pay the house utility bill therefore we are living in the dark with NO WATER and ELECTRICTY. Luckily, my friend was willing to offer me some money and re-connect back the supply.

My son is only 7 years old and he was really innocent. He had to suffer unnecessarily with me. At times I only take bread as my lunch and dinner as we cannot afford to pay for a decent meal.
I decided to look for job but was rejected by several companies. This was due to my lack of experience (not working for 8 years) and irrelevant certificate (obtain from HongKong).
Today, is my first day in COURT and the lawyer had told me that I will be likely to be charged to jail terms and it will eventually affect my PR status (Permanent Residence). I hope that anyone who see this article can tell me what to do. I am directionless and was told to hear my final verdict on 30 July 2008.

I had no relative, no mother (DIED), no brother, no sister and only 3 friends in Singapore. I seek help from my parents-in-law but was rejected. I am thinking of ending my life if convicted guilty, there is nothing worth to live. My ONLY concern is my son.
To all those people out there, please give me guidance.

From my understanding, this man is in his 20s and has yet to serve NS. And he affords 3 cars, last car being an Evo? Good deal. Who are you? Ironman?

What type of sentence is justifi-able for these sort of actions? Previous Mazda driver who caused a Saleswoman to die on a test-drive incident, only served 7 months of Jail and a 24 years banned-from-driving sentence.

I think even if this man is given a chance to feed/support Faizal's family for the rest of his life, it won't be sufficient. The crime he has made, the pain he has caused. No one can understand except the family themselves.

I just had this really random dumb but realistic thought of what my coffin will be while surfing facebook.

I know it sounds like your typical "die-hard-cowboy", coffin is a mustang, coffin is a Ferrari etc just because one is so in-love with something but, on a serious note. It's just cool to die in a way where, you'll be spending your after life in something... Different.

Gotta start to think how I can squeeze into a man-sized casing like these. Gotta turn and flip to get a good position; headache.

The pain in him, I can never understand. However, do take note everyone around you. Their spiritual support, love, care, concern and everything they've did up till now. They never give up; the pain is unbearable, but don't give up.

Naive me thinks me brain is so strong; I'm just a human.

Thinking the chance of changing my beliefs with a "situational-happening" is impossible...? It did.

Emotions; finding the true fault

Upon reaching home, some events took place and I understood something. A fault that lies in me so long; and a fault that needs a change.

How many of us can tell ourselves to suck it up and swallow it down? How many of us can find faults in ourselves and admit to a wrong belief of something?

I hope it isn't too late.
